It's a hot topic over at the Cafe Mom blog --

A restaurant in Washington State (Sogno di Vino, which, ironically Mason has eaten at) gave a family a $4 discount for "Well Behaved Kids".   On the face of it, seems like a nice gesture....especially from a restaurant that doesn't cater to families with small children.

But does it open a can of worms?  Put more pressure on parents to make sure they get the discount?  Put pressure on the wait staff, to make sure they don't anger customers by NOT giving the discount?

Makes it hard to be nice, doesn't it?
